Gi Chul realizes too late that he’s set Chang Hee up to live his own grovelling life while Hae Joo silently grieves over Chang Hee’s sudden decision to break up.

Chang Hee heads into a downward spiral ending in surprise declaration to Hae Joo while San does his best to ensure Hae Joo doesn’t give up her dream because of In Hwa and Il Moon learns who Hae Joo really is.

Chang Hee ignores his father’s pleas and arrests Jang while San rides to Hae Joo’s rescue and finally tells In Hwa his true feelings.

Chang Hee begins his revenge while San gets Hae Joo on board with his plan. Meanwhile, Chang Hee and Hae Joo once again resolve to keep their relationship going.

Chang Hee leaves his home only to have Hae Joo balk at his second proposal. San does his best to stick up for Hae Joo while slowly moving his revenge plans and Hae Poong recovery plans forward.

Our trio’s friendship becomes strained as truths are made known. San and Chang Hee suffer big blows while Jang starts putting the pieces together to get what he wants.

Geum Hee decides to give up on Yoo Jin while Gi Chul tries to chase Hae Joo out of Chang Hee’s life. Meanwhile, Hae Joo’s identity is made known to the whole Jang family and Jang tries to use her against Kang San.

This episode shows San’s real identity coming out in to the open, Gi Chul’s horror at Hae Joo’s reappearance, and Hae Joo getting a job under Il Moon at Cheon Ji.
