Rei leaves the Shibusawa family and asks Kazu for a divorce while Kazu starts going after Muraki in person. Can Hitoshi stand up to his father and stop him from getting Rei back and ruining Muraki?

Hitoshi moves out of the Shibusawa household without Rei while Kenji voices his worries about Rei to his father and Kazu becomes even more controlling of his wife.

Rei’s unhappiness grows with Kazu’s constant put downs while Hitoshi joins forces with Muraki and Nanami digs into Rei’s tragic past and discovers a surprising secret.

Rei confronts Onaka about her past with Kazu as Hitoshi tries to get Rei out of his system by omiais and apartment hunting while Nanami enlists Kenji’s help in getting Hitoshi away from Rei.

Rei’s and Kazu’s relationship starts cracking even more with the appearance of a mysterious woman, meanwhile Hitoshi is horrified to learn his father is using underhanded means to destroy a politician.
