When I watched the first season of the Japanese drama Bloody Monday, I fell in love with the OST and the insert song by flumpool. The song is the main theme of the drama and the one they always seemed to play at important moments. Titled “Over the Rain 〜ひかりの橋〜”, it is a pretty song and its content really fit the events of the drama.

flumpool made their official debut in 2008 with the independent digital single “Mirai Kanai” and from there went on to release “Over the Rain” for Bloody Monday season one. Now they are back with the theme song for season two as well. flumpool and Bloody Monday are really a great fit for one another. The current single is entitled “Zanzou.”

Besides these great tracks by flumpool, Bloody Monday has some great instrumentals. For the second season, I am already in love with “Falcon Returns” and several others. These are 2 singles and 2 soundtracks that are a must to listen to.
