2013 Countdown to Christmas – Day 3
Day 3 of AAA’s Christmas countdown continues with more jpop. I won’t lie, I really, really wanted to feature a jrock band’s song “White Love” for today, but I just couldn’t make it fit as its neither wintry nor Christmasy. Drat. I’ll save that song for my December music recommendations instead I guess.
Japanese singer YU-A released a single collection last month. She has a very pretty voice. I believe that the translation of this song title is “Lonely X’mas Night.” Okay…so far no really “uplifting” Christmas songs or carols. But…all good music. I remember YU-A! I forgot the name of the song but I used to always listen to one of her singles. Ooo I think Utada’s “Can’t Wait ‘Til Christmas” is suitable for this occasion!!!

I don’t think I’d heard that by Utada yet…odd as I’ve listened to most of her music. YU-A does have a great voice 🙂 I’m sure I’ve probably heard of her before and listened to her before…but I’m getting forgetful in my dotage 😉
