2013 Countdown to Christmas – Day 1
Happy holidays! It’s now a tradition. There needs must be an Asian music countdown to Christmas. This year I decided to do a week’s worth of Asian Christmas-related or winter-related music. I, myself, am not really in the holiday spirits this year, but hopefully you enjoy the countdown and it puts you in the holiday mood.
First up is TVXQ’s “Very Merry Xmas” – a nice ballad from the duo wishing you a Merry Christmas.

This time last year (having not discovered AAA in time apparently) I was so curious what Christmas was like in the Asian music world, and scoured youtube trying to find some playlists. What I got were mostly facepalm-worthy embarrassing Christmas covers of dubious quality. How did I miss out on everything? It seems like Kpop is throwing Christmas-sy music in my face everywhere I look! And that’s just the new stuff. Lol
Of the four years I’ve been blogging, three of them I have done Christmas countdowns with Asian music. 🙂 That includes original songs, okay Christmas classic renditions, and winter-related songs.
This year it really does seem like the kpop world is slapping us in the face with holiday cheer. Even though I’m still not geared up for the holidays, I don’t mind too much 😛
