Kpop Halloween Recommendations
Oh, I’m sure there are some great Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese, Thai songs out there that make good Halloween songs. And this has nothing to do with eerie or haunting music…but rather the videos are great for Halloween. These are from songs released this year.
M.Pire – “Can’t Be Friends with You”
Their MV explores a Dracula theme…which…doesn’t really have anything to do with the song whatsoever, lol, but it’s fitting.
BTOB – “Thriller”
A prince goes to rescue his princess and is killed thus becoming a zombie. However that doesn’t stop his quest and the princess eventually starts making him feel human again. I kid you not…that is the story when BTOB talks about the song and MV.
VIXX – “On and On” (Or also known as “Ready to Get Hurt”)
They are the idol group this year that started the other wordly trend it seems. They are vampires in this MV.
Vixx – “Hyde”
I guess they decided to keep going with the tough, creature image. After vampires, they became Jekyll and Hyde and fought against embracing their dark side after getting dumped…or something like that.
EXO – “Wolf” and “Growl”
Werewolves…need I say more? The drama MVs featuring songs from the entire album are really more fitting than the regular MVs for this storyline, though.
Wonderboyz – “Tarzan”
Wae? Um…just because. This somewhat nerdy recluse dreams of being Tarzan…so think of it like dressing up for Halloween.

Hah. I was browsing through this.. Uh uh . Yeah. Ok. Mhmm…….Tarzan LOL!! Awesome.
I feel like I’m missing out on the whole Vixx thing, but I can’t make myself really like their music.. Which to me is a major road block towards liking a group. Oh well.. Guess we’re not all cut out to be fans of everything and everyone.
Well…I was obligated to put Tarzan in…doesn’t that seem very Halloweeny? 😉 I really do love their video and the song, it gets stuck in your head and you find yourself singing it all the time.
Eh…Vixx…is Vixx. Personally not really a huge fan of theirs, but I don’t really claim to be a fan of any group (save a handful…or more like I can count on one hand and still have fingers left over) and they have some songs I do enjoy. Probably my favorite of theirs is “Don’t Want to be an Idol”. I was kind of going by videos and themes, and you can’t deny their tough, supernatural style this year…and then they came out with their cuter, softer songs in the fall…concept whiplash.

I have a friend on Me2Day that loves VIXX so she keeps trying to get me into them, but i watch their videos and quite like them (plus, in the Hyde MV, they all look great!) but I never end up actually downloading their music.
The EXO drama videos were so odd because they’re all over the place. But hey, at least all of the members look good. Sometimes that’s the only reason to watch something, lol
Oh, Tarzan, totally agree, it’s a catchy song. Actually, that reminds me, I was going to see if Wonder Boyz had released anything else and then never got around to it. I must get onto that.

Yeah…those drama videos of EXO. I say they suit the theme more…but I’m not 100% certain of just what is going on in them 😛 and I do think VIXX looked very good in HYDE and if you look at the lyrics and performance of the song…it’s rather cool.
Yes, you should definitely check out more Wonder Boyz. I do love them and they aren’t your typical group either.
