30 Day Asian Music Challenge Day 11

It’s funny because it’s kind of hard to sing along to Asian songs unless you have a somewhat good grasp of the lyrics.

Day 11: That one song that you can’t stop singing along to?

“Baby here comes the rain kyo no ame wa. Do you feel the same pain sumete sugiru”

Of course when I sing along to that song (Matsushita Yuya’s “foolish foolish”) it’s mostly the English parts and humming so when I sing it: “Baby here comes the rain nananaa Do you feel the same pain dodododo foolish foolish.” I can’t help it. Being a native English speaker, I pick up on English lyrics the fastest.

Here are some other songs I love to sing along to:

Melody’s “Ai Bu Zai”

EXO-M “What is Love”

AA “Because I’m Crazy”

DoReMiFaSoLaTiDo “Waiting for the Time”

And pretty much any Infinite song. And C-Clown’s “Solo” and “Faraway Young Love”

I can watch Chinese and Taiwanese dramas without subtitles. I want and am going to learn Korean.

I have enough of an understanding of Spanish to know what you say (but I can’t speak it). My German is abysmal and my Korean is fairly basic. 😛 Languages and I have a love/hate relationship.

My family hates me because I ALWAYS sing What Is Love as loud as I can whenever I hear it. 🙂

lol. My family hates it when I listen to Asian music and attempt to sing along with it. I can’t help but think of Simon from Eat You Kimchi every time I hear that song and him singing “I lost my pants…”
