I am excited as I love Nicholas Teo. He is a fairly decent actor whose acting does not make you cringe and definitely is believable. I loved him in Smiling Pasta and Invincible Shan Bao Mei. Looks like he is playing another rich son. Can’t escape that role, I suppose. Here is hoping that his drama will fare better than recent ones which had very poor viewer ratings.

We have hummers, lawyers, policemen, and a rich man who can’t tell women no. It will be interesting . . . hopefully. I find that a lot of cdrama and tdrama are hit and miss. You have the hokey action dramas with the really fake CGI and non-believable wire fight scenes and the over-acted comedies. There isn’t a lot of middle ground out there. Kdrama and jdrama have their shares of problems as well, but I can generally watch and stomach them more.

For those unfamiliar with Nicholas Teo, check out this MV from Smiling Pasta. Nicholas Teo is the one singing. The song is “Tears from Polaris” – my utmost favorite song by Teo. He is an artists who can inject a lot of emotion into his singing. This song always makes me want to cry.
