Jang Geun Seok Confirms Next Project
It’s official! Jang Geun Seok has officially declared his next project to be the Korean film adaptation of the Japanese manga Kimi wa Petto by Ogawa Yayoi, which had it’s original run in Japan serialized in Kiss. Kimi wa Petto has already had a successful drama run in 2003 in Japan with popular Arashi member Matsumoto Jun as the happy-go-lucky Momo, pet to a work-a-holic older woman.
In the Korean movie, Geun Seok will take on MatsuJun’s role. He will play a dancer classically trained in ballet who wants to be a musical actor and choreographer. The main female lead who will keep Geun Seok as a pet has yet to be announced. I remember that some time ago it was believed that SS501 leader Kim Hyun Joong was set to take on the lead role, but I am glad that Geun Seok will take on the role.
He is an actor who likes to challenge himself and try new things, which has not failed him yet. He garnered accolades for his role as a cold-hearted killer in Korean movie Itaewon Homicide / Itaewon Murder Case and he is more recently known as the irascible lead singer of famous idol group A.N.Jell in Korean drama You’re Beautiful.

I don’t know. I believe that during the rehearsals and filming process, a lot was going on to hinder its production. So I don’t know when it will be released or if it will be.
