Song of the Week: 새벽 가로수길 [Saebyeok Garosugil]
This Song of the Week is a duet by Baek Ji Young and Song Yu Bin.
I had not heard of Song Yu Bin before. He was apparently a contestant on Superstar K6. He joined the same agency as Baek Ji Young and thus this collaboration was born. Their voices really suit each other quite well. Song does a good job of holding his own against the queen of ballads. Their voices work in a nice harmony where one voice isn’t overpowering the other. I love this song. It’s a toned down and melancholy ballad. I’m looking forward to more by Song Yu Bin.
So far I can’t find a place to purchase the song, which is sad.
