A-JAX releases Insane MV

A-JAX is finally back in 2013 with the release of a new mini album Insane. They dropped two teasers just before the release of the MV for the title track “Insane” and they weren’t really enough to try to judge how the song was going to be. But now that they have released the music video… Well…I won’t lie, not really loving this song all that much. The verses are okay for the most part, but then we go into the trance/electronic/dubstep club music chorus and that just kind of turns me off. The mix is always hit or miss with me and right now it’s more of a miss. That being said, when A-Jax released their MV for “Hot Game” I didn’t like the song initially, but eventually warmed up to it and can now says I like it. Wonder if I’ll be able to say that about this song in the future.

And while I don’t like the song itself that much, I really do love the music video for it because I think it really conveys insanity well. It’s really well done in that respect and I like how they put all these room and happenings together.

Insane – released July 11, 2013
01. Don’t Break My Heart
02. Insane
03. Don’t Leave Me
04. Fantasy
05. Thank Ya

The first two songs on the album are definitely very dance heavy, club music type songs. “Don’t Leave Me” is a beautiful ballad with a faint dance beat undertone. “Fantasy” is another dance track, but it’s not as heavy as the first two and adds in a little rock at the beginning. The final track “Thank Ya” is another more ballad-like song with a dance beat. It’s stronger than “Don’t Leave Me” but still a pretty ballad.
