Girls Generation [SNSD] are making the rounds on US television. Not that we have anything at all like the variety of shows that South Korea has. So you get to see them perform the English version of “The Boys” [I think I like this song even less when I actually know what they are singing]. I won’t lie, I don’t dislike Girls Generation, but neither am I a big fan. I like a few of their songs, but find most of it not to my taste generally.

The girls made their US debut on Letterman and then appeared on Kelly Live. I think its great that we are starting to have kpop artists come to the US more now. I think it would be even cooler if their concerts and performances were actually more scattered around the US vs. what you usually find and that is them hitting cities in California, New York, and Washington.

Here’s wishing SNSD all the best with their official American debut! And let’s cross our fingers for more idols to follow. Support the girls and buy their album [it even features Snoop Dogg].
