MBLAQ – It’s War

Damn. That was my first thought after watching this MV. That and dang this is really like the movie Wanted, which I surprisingly liked [I thought I wouldn’t even though I love James McAvoy]. Love the song, love the MV. This is another mini-movie MV that tells a pretty crazy story. Leave it to MBLAQ to do something this epic.

I really like this song. It’s very powerful and has a great beat. And Mir! I love Mir’s rapping. I also love hearing Seung Ho and Joon sing. G.O. is great, but I do like hearing more of our singing trio then mostly G.O. I wonder why Choondong is singing more than rapping now? Not that I will complain. I do prefer Mir’s rapping skills, though Choondong isn’t bad at all.

I feel bad for Joon. He leaves his girl with his best friend to take care of her while she heals and she and Choondong fall in love. Not surprising. Erasing the killer-for-hire plot of the MV, this MV really does fit in with the lyrics of the song. The horrible feelings of betrayal when the two people who love and trust the most fall for one another. I must say that even though I like this video, I do have some problems with the story. Mostly Joon killing himself. Yes, he decides to do that to let them be free [or is it his revenge by making them the cause of his death so they can never be 100% happy?], but seriously?

Did anyone else think of SS501’s one epic mini-movie while watching this at all. Not quite the same idea, but you know, it does kind of remind me of that.
