In time for Valentine’s Day, the full MV for “You Are the Best of My Life” by  Lee Hyun of 8Eight and Hitman Bang has been released. Talk about deja vu! This reminds me of the KBS drama special Mind & Love where a man obsessed only with looks receives an injury which makes him see the “beauty within” versus the outward appearance. Seriously. That is what this  MV does.

Lee Hyun is crushing on a perfect beauty and ignores the attention of the plain coffee shop woman (played by comedian Jung Juri). After a run in with Changmin of 2AM, he goes through a period where Jung Juri morphs into his ideal girl. When he realizes the truth, he runs away, but then realizes that love doesn’t depend on appearance and goes back to Juri. The woman finally snagged a good looking idol!
