愛 – Ài

Definitely see this character a lot in dramas and in music. Ai (pronounced eye) means “love.” To make a declaration of love: Wo Ai Ni (我爱你). Got to love how the Chinese character is complicated, just like the emotion itself. Though, this character is not nearly as complex as the character “xie” which will be for next time 😛
