No, it wasn’t a late April’s fool prank and it should come as no surprise after the drama in 2009.

After much grief with their record label over the fairness and validity of their contract, DBSK/TVXQ has announced their breakup. After a successful start to the year as a group, they will be heading off to pursue solo activities. Xiah Junsu will be releasing a solo album while Max, Mickey, and Hero have various acting gigs in the works (Hero will be starring in an upcoming Spring Japanese drama with Ueno Juri and Eita). Nothing was mentioned of Yunho’s future activities and plans.
