Woo Jin tells Yi Han to back off a case while Da Kyung and Ji Hoon discover Seo Yoon Hyung’s murderer on their last night in Japan. Ji Hoon issues a gauntlet to Myung Han, will his lies be exposed at last?

Da Kyung and Ji Hoon head to Japan to investigate the remains of a Korean skeleton giving Myung Han time to acquiesce to Jang’s favor of doctoring a particular autopsy. Parts of Ji Hoon and Woo Jin’s past together are revealed.

Yi Han and Da Kyung develop a camaraderie while Woo Jin and Ji Hoon face career difficulties in light of the serial killings and a past mistake.

Yi Han informs Woo Jin about a possible serial killer which sends her to the southern branch where Ji Hoon and Da Kyung autopsied a similar body. Will the maniacal serial killer strike again closer to home?

We see the big difference between the main NFS branch in Seoul and the southern branch, plus Da Kyun and Ji Hoon’s relationship starts to grow as does Woo Jin’s and Yi Han’s.

We get to see the breakdown of just how Seo Yoon Hyung was murdered, we get a hint of mystery about Ji Hoon’s father’s death, more cover up, presidential elections, career changes, and relocation to a small, understaffed branch of the NFS.
