Hara pushes Ozu towards his fiancee and he goes ahead with their wedding plans while Hara tries to take control of her life by starting a relationship in earnest with Egawa.

Hara tries to forget Ozu and move on only to realize she can’t let go just yet, but then she sees Ozu wedding dress shopping with Kaori!

Ozu decides to end things once and for all with Kaori only to have her plea to help her pretend for her dying grandmother while Hara’s shameful past is revealed in public causing her mother to reject her out of shame.

Hara and Ozu try to let each other go, but are overcome by their feelings towards one another. What will these two do now that Kaori has made her reappearance?

Kaori has Ozu set Egawa and Hara up which leads Ozu to confronting just how he feels about his fellow teacher and mentor. Which decision will he make…and what will Hara do?

Hara overcomes her past and tries to open herself up to her own desires and impulses as Ozu finds himself becoming more and more attracted to his mentor.

Men and women struggle to understand each other with value gaps while Hara tries out an omiai and Kurosawa asks her to come back to him if he throws away his family.
