Jung Woo snaps Eun Jo out of her breakdown to take care of the falling apart family. Everyone is blaming someone for Dae Sung’s death. Ki Hoon defies his family while Eun Jo finally successfully makes her father’s wine.

Kang Sook breaks things off with Kang and concentrates on Dae Sung while the kids face a crisis with the wine which happens to be because of Ki Hoon’s family.

Kang Sook straightens up her act to look after the recovering Dae Sung while Eun Jo throws herself into research and Hyo Sun wallows in self pity again.

Dae Sun reveals he knows his wife’s true character, but chose her anyways which still makes Eun Jo unhappy, especially when her beloved step-father collapses.

Eun Jo tries to get rid of Ki Hoon and fails, Dae Sung agrees to let Eun Jo go if she gives him a written plan, Jung Woo takes care of Eun Jo, Ki Hoon agrees to his father’s plan, more theatrics from Kang Sook, and Hyo Sun reveals her true character.

Ki Hoon returns and goes back to the Goo household to look for work. Hyo Sun’s and Eun Jo’s relationship is as rocky as ever, Kang Sook is as theatrical as ever, and Jung Woo comes to work for the Goo’s to keep his promise to his beloved nuna. Add in the Hong family plot to take over the Goo business and this series gets more and more complicated.

Eun Jo, in a bad mood, antagonizes everyone around her leading to disaster. More with Ki Hoon’s family drama and inheritance issues. Eun Jo starts opening up a bit just to have her world come crashing down. Ki Hoon leaves! 8 years fly by in the blink of an eye and, what’s this!? Is Hyo Sun really dating Ki Hoon (as an adult)?

The Goos host a family gathering to introduce the two newest family members. Dae Sung’s aunt doesn’t want him to register for marriage until she gets a chance to change Kang Sook’s bad luck. Eun Jo remains aloof at home and school. Ki Hoon gets more interested in Eun Jo as she reminds him of how he used to be. Two people from the past come into Ki Hoon’s life again and we learn who he really is. Hyo Sun does her best to get along with her unni. Kang Sook is ecstatic at finally registering her marriage with Dae Sung and starts bossing around the kitchen help. Eun Jo actually asks for help from Dae Sung and all hell breaks loose at the end of the episode.

Song Eun Jo is tough and prickly. While Eun Jo is being held as collateral to ensure her mother’s return, her mother works to land a wealthy man to save herself and her daughter.
