San hits rock bottom, but picks himself up while Hae Joo worries over him. Meanwhile, Chang Hee manages to manipulate the Jang family to get what he wants, but he starts to regret as his marriage to In Hwa draws near.

Kang dies leaving San broken and alone. Chang Hee assures that San has nowhere left to go as he implements the next plan of attack against Jang. Meanwhile, Hae Joo’s identity is revealed to Jung Woo.

San asks Noble for help while Hae Joo works for Jang to save the factory. Kang uncovers the long-buried truth and Il Moon plots revenge on his entire family after In Hwa’s and Chang Hee’s marriage gets approved.

Hae Joo and San are backed into a corner by Jang while Jung Woo and Kang join forces to discover the truth from 29 years ago.

Hae Joo is an eternal doormat, but she and San successfully create the thruster which sends Jang’s goons after them to steal it.

San comes closer and closer to the truth thanks in part to Hae Joo while Cheonji is met with multiple setbacks all thanks to the incompetent Il Moon.

Hae Joo and San bond after learning about their shared traumas while Dal Soon decides to tell Geum Hee about Hae Joo’s parentage.

Hae Joo decides to keep her heritage a secret, San distances himself in anger from his grandfather, and Chang Hee commits unthinkable acts against the people who are against the Jang family.

Hae Joo learns who her birth parents are meanwhile Jang and Chang Hee plot against San and Jung Woo.

Il Moon’s embezzlement is exposed, plus a lot of the cast start to learn more secrets and the past is starting to come back and haunt even stronger.
