San hits rock bottom, but picks himself up while Hae Joo worries over him. Meanwhile, Chang Hee manages to manipulate the Jang family to get what he wants, but he starts to regret as his marriage to In Hwa draws near.

Hae Joo and San bond after learning about their shared traumas while Dal Soon decides to tell Geum Hee about Hae Joo’s parentage.

Hae Joo decides to keep her heritage a secret, San distances himself in anger from his grandfather, and Chang Hee commits unthinkable acts against the people who are against the Jang family.
