Popular Kdramas Return to Netflix
That’s right. A few popular Korean dramas that were removed from Netflix’s streaming library have returned.
A lot of people jumped on the kdrama bandwagon with the Korean adaptation of the hit Japanese manga, anime, and drama series Boys Over Flowers (aka Boys Before Flowers). We have an impoverished student who ends up attending an affluent school for the wealthy where she comes head to head with a gang of four handsome youths. I highly recommend checking out the original Japanese version. It is very good and more true to the original story than any other adaptation to date. Oh…and believe it or not, Japan is finally giving life to the follow-up series Yoko Kamio penned after the original HanDan (aka Hana Yori Dango) which is airing now.
If you’re a fan of Jang Geun Suk and SNSD’s Yoona, their drama Love Rain has returned. This drama parallels two love stories from the 1970s to present day. Both our leads play their parents and their children. Can the children find the love that their parents were unable to realize?
Catch the exciting, action-packed IRIS starring Lee Byung Hun and Kim Tae Hee. Two friends end up on opposite sides in this spy-game thriller.
