Welcome to this week’s installment of what’s new in anime, Asian dramas, and Asian movies in the streaming video sphere.
First off, Crunchyroll continues to add titles for it’s Summer lineup. No new drama, but they have officially announced these anime titles: Miss Monochrome – The Animation – 2, Aoharu x Machinegun, GATE, Wakaba*Girl, Ushio and Tora, Wooser’s Hand-to-Mouth Life: Phantasmagoric Arc, Gatchaman Crowds Insight, Teekyu 5, Non Non Biyori Repeat, Monster Musume Everyday Life with Monster Girls, and To Love Ru Darkness. Check out the full list of anime here: www.crunchyroll.com/lineup.
DramaFever had added some new Korean and Chinese dramas. First up is the Park Bo Young and Jo Jung Suk tvN drama Oh My Ghostess [
Hulu has added some new anime. I think all of these titles are also available on Crunchyroll as well. They now have Charlotte, Wagnaria!!3, Bakuman, and Classroom Crisis. As always, you can also watch DramaFever shows on Hulu which now has Oh My Ghostess, Jeju Island Gatsby (Warn & Cozy), The Time That I Loved You, 7000 Days, and My Beautiful Bride.
Netflix has added comedy Kung Fu Hustle starring Stephen Chow, Wah Yuen, and Yuen Qui; Mary Kom a movie based on the true story of Indian boxer Mary Kom; the Jet Li movies keep on coming with The Shaolin Temple; and documentary A Gesar Bard’s Tale. Again, no new dramas.
Death Note is supposed to stream there but it still hasn’t shown up.
Hmmm. Wonder if it’s a premium thing?
