New Korean Dramas on Netflix – January 2015
It’s been a while since I have checked Netflix for any new Asian dramas, but given what has been going on in my life, it’s really no surprise. So, I have no idea exactly when these dramas were added, but there are new ones!
First we have the Korean take on the popular Taiwanese drama of Fated to Love You. Then we have the drama Doctor Stranger which I’ve heard some very mixed reviews about.
Now, on to more bad news. I’ve gone through the whole list and more dramas have been removed. I don’t know how long they’ve been gone, but they are gone. Netflix now has a lot less than they once had. Now gone is 12 Men in A Year, Creating Destiny, Killer Girl K, Lie to Me, Manny, My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, My Princess, Pasta, Protect the Boss, Scent of a Woman, The Servant: The Untold Story of Bang-Ja, Shining Inheritance, and Stars Falling from the Sky.

netflix is removing a lot of korea dram
That’s the biggest problem with acquiring streaming rights. Contracts only last for so long and it’s up to both Netflix and the content owner to decide if a title should continue or not. There’s always DramaFever, Hulu, and Viki. Soompi TV isn’t really adding anything new, but they do have a fairly decent back catalog with some shows you can’t get elsewhere.
