Song of the Week – 10 November 2014

Winter is already rearing it’s cold and snowy head. Nothing has managed to stick so far, but still, at times, encroaching winter can be a bit depressing (although winter can be dazzling and beautiful, it is a giant pain in the year with ice and snow removal, etc.). So…let us recall the beauty of spring and remember it’s only…about four months away. Although spring is just a calendar thing. It can take a lot longer for the snow to melt and the weather to warm up and flowers bloom.

This week’s song of the week is by Kobukuro – “Sakura”. Sakura, you may know, is the Japanese word for cherry blossoms.

This song was officially released back in 2005. It’s gorgeous, isn’t it? I really am happy to have discovered this Japanese duo.
